How do I see things I copied earlier?

The steps

1. 1

   Press the Windows key and the letter V together on your keyboard. A small window titled Clipboard pops up near your typing cursor or at the bottom-right of the screen.

   What is Clipboard History?

   Normally, copying something overwrites whatever you copied before. Clipboard History lets Windows remember a whole list of recent texts and pictures.

   If this is your first time using it, click the Turn on button inside the popup. The window activates and will now record whatever you copy.

   Click on any item in the list that you want to insert. The chosen item pastes immediately into your active document or message, and the clipboard window closes.

It looks different on my screen

If you do not want items saved in your clipboard history anymore, you can click Clear all at the top of the window at any time.
