    Why are updates important?

Updates fix discovered security vulnerabilities, resolve system bugs, and add stability improvements. Installing them keeps hackers and malware from exploiting known flaws.

  3. 3

Click the Check for updates button. Windows connects to Microsoft servers and searches for new security patches and driver fixes.

  4. 4
