The steps

    Press the Windows key and the letter E together on your keyboard. A window titled File Explorer opens on your screen.

    What is File Explorer?

    File Explorer is the filing cabinet of your computer where all documents, pictures, and downloads are organized.

    Click Downloads in the left navigation sidebar or under Quick access. The folder opens showing all files you have recently downloaded, with the newest files listed at the top.

    Double-click your file to open it, or drag it into any other folder or email you want. The file opens in its default application.

  4. It looks different on my screen

    If your newest file is not at the top, click the Date modified column header at the top of the file list to sort newest to oldest.
