How do I combine multiple files into one zip file?

The steps

    Select all the files you want to combine by clicking and dragging a blue selection box over them, or hold Ctrl while clicking each file. All chosen files are highlighted with a light blue background.

    What is a ZIP file?

    A ZIP file packs multiple documents or photos into a single neat folder that is smaller in size, making it easy to send via email or WhatsApp in one attachment.

    Right-click on any of the highlighted files and click Compress to ZIP file.A new yellow icon with a zipper appears in the same folder with its name highlighted ready for you to type.

    Type a name for your new ZIP file and press the Enter key. Your ZIP file is created and ready to attach to an email or message.

    4. It looks different on my screen

    If you are trying to open a ZIP file someone sent you, right-click it and choose Extract All to unpack all the files inside.
