The steps
- 1
Open File Explorer by clicking the folder icon on your taskbar, or press WinE. File Explorer opens showing your Home page and the navigation sidebar.
What is Quick access / Home?
The sidebar at the edge of File Explorer gives you one-click shortcuts to your primary locations from any folder without clicking through your hard drive.
- 2
Navigate to the folder you frequently work with (for example, a study folder, client files, or current projects). The folder appears on your screen.

- 3
Right-click the folder and click Pin to Quick access (or Pin to Home). The folder immediately appears in the left sidebar with a small pin icon next to it.

You can also drag any folder with your mouse and drop it directly onto the Quick access header in the sidebar to pin it.
