The steps

To make everything on your current web page or document bigger, hold Ctrl on your keyboard and press the plus key . The text, pictures, and buttons enlarge smoothly.
What does zooming do?
Zooming enlarges the current document or webpage temporarily without altering your computer's permanent screen resolution or display settings.

To make everything smaller, hold Ctrl and press the minus key -. The page shrinks back down, showing more content at once.

If the page looks stretched or awkward and you want to return to normal size, hold Ctrl and press the number zero 0. The page snaps back to exactly 100% standard view immediately.
It looks different on my screen
In modern web browsers like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, a small magnifying glass icon appears near the right end of the address bar whenever you zoom. You can click that icon and click Reset at any time.
