How do I cancel a print job that is stuck in the queue?

The steps

Look at the notification area in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar near the clock. A small printer icon appears while print jobs are pending or actively processing.
Why do print jobs get stuck?
If the printer runs out of paper, gets turned off, or loses Wi-Fi connection, Windows holds the documents in an internal queue and pauses all subsequent print requests.

Double-click the printer icon (or open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners and click Open print queue). A window titled with your printer name opens, listing every pending document in order.

Right-click the stuck document and click Cancel (or click Printer in the top menu > Cancel All Documents). A confirmation dialog asks whether you are sure you want to cancel the print job.

Click Yes to confirm. The Status changes to "Deleting" and the stuck job clears completely from the queue, allowing your printer to work normally again.
Tip
If a job remains stubbornly stuck on "Deleting", turn your physical printer off and back on to clear its onboard hardware memory.
