What is a local IPv4 address?
A local IP address (usually starting with 192.168 or 10.0) is your computer's unique identifier inside your home or office network, assigned by your router so devices can talk to each other.
- 3
Scroll down to the Properties section and look for the line labeled IPv4 address. A set of four numbers separated by dots (for example 192.168.1.15) is displayed right next to IPv4 address.
